How often will I receive menu plans?

Your menu plans will be delivered to your inbox weekly, bi-monthly or monthly, at your choosing.

What day of the week will my menu plans be delivered?

While circumstances beyond my control may arise at times, this is the delivery schedule you can expect.

  • If you select a monthly menu plan, you’ll receive your emailed plan on the first of the month.
  • If you select a bi-monthly plan, your menus will be delivered on the 1st and 15th of the month.
  • If you select a weekly plan, your menus will hit your inbox each Saturday by noon.

Our family doesn’t eat canned or prepackaged convenience food items. Will the Stolen Moments Menu Planning system still work for us?

Absolutely! Convenience foods will rarely be included in your menu plans. However, if you rely on canned cream of soups or other items in your kitchen, recipes will be notated where you can substitute with convenience items.

Will there be kid-friendly meals included in the menu plans?

If you have children, you can rest assured that every effort will be made to insure your menu plans are chock full of kid approved meals.

Are special occasion menus included?

Holidays menu plans will be included during the appropriate week or month. There will also be special occasion menus included as bonuses with some menu plans.

Our pantry is not always stocked with staples. Will the included grocery lists still be helpful?

The grocery lists included with your menu plans are all-inclusive and contain every ingredient needed to make your planned meals. Before heading out to the store, take a few minutes to look through your on-hand supplies and just check off whatever you already have.

Do you offer menu plans for allergy-specific (ie. gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) diets?

Unfortunately, the Stolen Moments Menu Planning service does not currently include plans for allergy-specific diets.

Will I still be able to take advantage of store sales and coupons?

Store sales and coupons are a great way to help keep the grocery budget low. If you rely on store sales and coupons, select the monthly menu plan option with lists broken down by weeks. That way, you can select which weeks plan to make based on the sales.

Or, if you’d like store sales prices included in a weekly grocery list, you’ll have the option of choosing that service for an extra fee. (Please note that this service is only available for larger, chain grocery stores that publish their ads online.)

What if I forget to mention a food my family dislikes when filling out the personalized survey?

Don’t worry. You can contact me at any time to update your preferences.

We really enjoyed a certain meal and would like to see it included in our menu plan on a regular basis. Is this a possibility?

Definitely!  You can specify that any meal be added to the regular rotation at any time.

How often do you repeat meals?

Variety is a primary goal of Stolen Moments Menu Planning. As such, dinners will rarely repeated in your menu plans unless specified by you. If you select the Complete Plan which includes breakfast and lunch menu plans, there will be more frequent repetition for those meals.

What will the food be like?

While not an all-inclusive portrayal of the meals planned on your Stolen Moments Menu Plan, you can visit my recipe blog, Cooking During Stolen Moments, for an idea of the foods and meals that may be included in your plans.
